Rival Gaming Blackjack is available with Las Vegas Rules single hand blackjack and multi hand blackjack. You can play up to three hands at a time in the multi hand game. You can play Rival Gaming blackjack in either variety at any of the Rival powered casinos we have on the site.

The Vegas style used is actually the Vegas Downtown Blackjack rules. The game is a six deck game and the deck is shuffled between each hand, so it will not do any good to count cards at Rival blackjack games.

Blackjack pays 3 to 2 and insurance is available and pays 2 to 1. (Just in case you aren't a blackjack student, insurance is never a good bet to take at the blackjack tables.) Insurance is only available when the dealer is showing an Ace.

You may split up to three times per hand, making a total of four hands, with the exception of Aces, which can only be split once. It is allowable to double down on any starting 2 cards. You can double down after a split if you choose.

In the Rival online blackjack game, the dealer must hit on a soft 17. Though I have never seen it happen, if you hit 9 times on a single hand, making a total of 11 cards, and do not go over 21, you automatically win the hand.

All ties are a push, with the bet returned to the player. This is true even if you both have a Blackjack.

Rival Blackjack Odds

The Rival Gaming Blackjack payout odds are approximately 99.38% for the single hand blackjack game and 99.5% for the Rival games multiple hand blackjack game. I don't know enough to tell you why they are different, but they are both very high in my opinion. This is of course assuming perfect blackjack strategy on your part. However, with blackjack odds paying back over 99%, your original stake can go a long way at the Rival blackjack tables.
